For Jon and Jeff Potter, building isn’t just a profession—it’s part of their DNA. As fourth-generation home builders, the brothers have carried on a proud family legacy through Alta Outdoor Living, founded in 1992. What began as a deep-rooted connection to craftsmanship has evolved into a mission to bring high-quality, beautifully designed outdoor spaces to homes across Colorado.

Both Jon and Jeff studied Construction Management and bring decades of combined experience to their work. Their technical expertise is backed by multiple certifications, including recognition as Certified Azenco and Magnatrek Installers, as well as Hilti-certified professionals. Their education and training ensure that every project is completed with precision, care, and the latest innovations in outdoor construction.

Alta Outdoor Living was born from a simple truth: Colorado’s natural beauty deserves to be enjoyed. With its crisp mountain air, wide-open skies, and stunning landscapes, it made perfect sense to take their building expertise outside. From custom patios and pergolas to complete outdoor living environments, Jon and Jeff focus on craftsmanship that enhances everyday living.
